At ARDÖKÜM, we successfully manufacture the rolls required for
rolling all types of profiles, from light to heavy. Depending on
the specifications of your rolling mill and your specific
requirements, we select the most suitable material from our
spheroidal graphite cast iron or cast steel grades and produce
the rolls with high dimensional precision.
If requested, we can also machine the calibrations
of these rolls with great accuracy on CNC machines.
Additionally, for maximum wear resistance, we harden
and temper the calibration surfaces of hypereutectoid steel
profile rolls that have undergone rough calibration machining.
For spheroidal rolls, we normalize and temper the roughly
calibrated rolls to ensure uniform wear resistance. These rolls
show almost no loss of hardness, and softer grades exhibit
excellent resistance to fire cracking while offering mechanical
strength comparable to cast steel.
